Hello everyone!
This time I made something smaller and simpler:
A Mario Forever Thwomp
Note: It may not be 100% accurate
Screenshot:
Spoiler: show
Image
as you can see on the image the thwomps have 1x1 pixels almost everywhere but thats how they look good
Also it has its own blink animation like in the original game, altough he wont laugh at you when you get hit
And a download link:

Have a nice day

what happened with their eyes and their mouth lol
Their eyes and mouth look bad tbh because they lack of shading.
But everything looks nice and detailed.

That's actually pretty close to how they appear in the game! However, I'd suggest working on removing the 1x1 pixels and possible adding some more shading.

yeah the eyes and the mouth clash horribly. Turn the black's brightness up to 15 and it should be fine.

Well, here are some answers for your questions

No, I mentioned before that they wont. Altough, if you ask someone who is making Mario Forever engines to give you the laugh sound then with Lua you may be able to
add the laugh animation

I wanted to stick to the original, but I ended up with this

That would be hard because the WHOLE GAME uses 1x1 pixels in his gfx and so does the Thwomp. There are a loads of GFX which use 1x1 pixels and trying to recreate them in 2x2 just because SMBX said so will result in something awful and way too different.

It should be fine if I had Paint.net to solve that quickly ^^

I'm pretty sure 1x1 is a good decision. As the rule states, SMBX sprites should atleast have 1x1 pixels.

EDIT: That's actually good but I'll leave you to decide that if you want to make it 1x1.

I totally disagree with this. 1x1 Pixels never looks good in SMBX, especially if you mix them with 2x2 px graphics.

I made a mistake in that post. It's supposed to be 2x2 pixels, my bad.
