Super Mario Bros. X Forums

So, I'm starting a new episode. It's based off of the SMB3 rom hack, Super Mario Bros 3mix.
It is mainly SMB3 styled with short levels, but may have a SMB2/SMW/SMB1 world if requested.
It also has 9 (main) worlds with 2 castles and 7 to 11 levels.
Each level has SilverDeoxy's star coins replacing dragon coins.
I'll tell the rest of the details to ld in PM form.
Also, It uses KunaLua LunaLua.
Tell me which level you want to make through PM!

The screens looks simple but detailed.

I love Super Mario Bros. 3Mix. I played it all the way through. It's definitely better than regular Super Mario Bros. 3. Anyway, good luck on your project. It sounds like a great idea!

Yeah also a fan of SMB3mix here.
This seems like a nice idea, I can tell I'm going to like the concept you have for your levels in this episode.
Also, I have a checkpoint graphic which is the same as the checkpoint from the hack, if you want I can send it to you for the project.

I mean most of the worlds and powerups and maybe some other stuff. And the idea.

Martijn also made a cave tileset somewhere.

I like the style, but the graphics seem a bit generic.

I've decided that world 7 will be SMG.
Also, I'm going to make some special powerups for some worlds.

World 4 is ghost. Also, world 3 is smw and world 8 is lava.
