Is anyone here thinking of, or part of the military or know somebody who is? Doesn't matter what country, but I'd like to hear some stories.

I am JROTC (Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps) and it is practically a military division of High school. however, since I graduate in about a week, I can not tell any stories other than my rank of First Lieutenant.

I'm in AFJROTC (Air Force), and I'm C/MSgt. Probably could've gotten an officer position if I had enough drive to do so, but I do have a bunch of ribbons and awards.

I'd like to know where they have high school military training in Canada, because I hadn't seen anything to indicate that it exists here while I was in school. At the very least, based on the ads I've seen for the Canadian Forces on TV in the past, it does at least prepare people for domestic issues like natural disasters.

I only got two ribbions, but I do not know what rank that is. Is that Command Sergeant Major?

No, it's Cadet Master Sergeant. I have 14 ribbons in total.

Ah. I tend to leave off the Cadet part. I congradulated the Cadet Colnel today...
