Since the requests forum is closed, where do I put my requests then? I have a playable Blue Toad request and can't find it anywhere on these forums or on Google.

You just can't make requests anymore period. However there are so many graphics packs that a lot of stuff can be found in. I'd recommend downloading both parts of the Community GFX Pack

I do remember how did it get taken down.

On August, 6th 2015 the requests forum was moved to the archives and Joey made an announcement stating what happened and the reason.
Reason was because, most requests were too generic because they either didn't meet the requirements or were recolors.
I think there was one user who didn't stop sending in requests.

All the topic in the forum are there, fun fact: The Thwomp King made the very last post on the forum.
And ever since, the forums no longer accept requests and every time someone made a request, the topic would get reported and locked by a staff.
Yeah, this is pretty much some stuff I'm aware of.

I think you can make requests in PM or in the IRC though, you just can't make a topic in the forums requesting for a specific graphic.

Whelp, unless if there's a new "No Requests Allowed" rule being added in the forum rules, there's only one thing left to do:

Use the PM System.
