SMBX Level Collection

It's not a level submission, just a post - since about 2011 I've been making custom levels in SMBX, fairly consistently. I think I'm around 160 levels at this point. I'm sure I have one of the largest self-created custom level collections in the world, though I have only shared 2 levels on the forum.
For me, I do it for my son. He has grown up with his very own mario game, it's always fun to have an audience, someone to bounce ideas off, and when I was a child - I would always draw mario levels on paper (8 bit mario mind you, heh). When I first found SMBX I was blown away.. finally I could do what I dreamt of as a child, make my very own mario worlds!
I find a big challenge is keeping levels fresh. Sometimes I remember an area of an old mario level that I loved/hated, and base a level around it. Other times it's more a feeling or a setting, like an area from mario 2 that made me feel a certain way when I was young. Other levels are kind of just an adventure that unfolds as you build it, with no real concise vibe or theme.
I'm always blown away by the submissions here, and it's really cool how every person has their own distinct style. When I'm struggling on a new level concept, I can always look on here to get some inspiration.
Anyhow, maybe I'll share a new level or two down the road (or upload my entire collection) - but keep it up guys! I'm sure there are more people like me, who are avid SMBXers that don't post on the forums very often. I hope the community keeps it up.
