Music Delay

Postby TheDirectO » Thu Apr 21, 2016 7:46 pm

I have some delay in the music start for some of the tracks i want to use in my project. Just to clear things up, by a "music delay" i mean the music takes a few seconds to start. i am using some music from the SMG2 OST is there a way i can fix this issue?

Open the music in audacity or any audio editing software and remove the silence at the start.

Sorry, should have cleared up, the music file runs instantly when I run it in WMP but when i use it in SMBX there is a noticeable delay before the audio starts

What's the audio file's filesize and length? Maybe it takes a while to load.

Try taking the track from a different source. I've had this problem before, and that was the only solution I found.

Mp3 adds always a silence at the beggining.
