What is something you can and cannot live without?

I saw a thread for this a while ago on a different board and wanted to ask it here. What is something you can live without and what can you not live without?

For me I can live without a lot of the modern conveniences I have (i.e. technology). What I can't live without is probably just family. I'm curious to see how a few of you here would answer this question and if there is any overlap in answers.

I can live without a lot of modern technology; in my eyes, it just complicates simple things such as communication. I can't live without water. Not just drinking water, but pretty much all of my real-life hobbies have something to do with water (Sailing, rowing etc.)
