How to: Stationary platforms fall when landed upon?

I've been learning how to use the editor more and more recently, but one of the things i haven't figured out on my own yet is how to make a stationary platform start falling when you jump/land onto it.

I'm wondering about the "change position" option or an event action option but I haven't figured it out, I thinking it's pretty basic so I should probably ask. Thanks in advance!

Use a SMB3 Wooden Platform and it has to be on a Off Activation. That way, if you land on that platform it falls while there is no lineride backgrounds somewhere below and so on. One problem is if you do it on that way you need to wait like 60 Seconds (1 Minute) until it reappears at the same place again...

I'm not exactly sure what you're trying to do but I'll give you something. The wooden platform found in the SMB3 NPCs tab falls down when the player lands when it's set inactive. If it's set active it will fall down when it appears on the screen. There's also a checkered platform in the SMW section that will fall only if the player stands on it. If the player gets off the platform it will stop and will only continue moving down if the Player gets on it again.

The SMB3 donut-shaped blocks (actually NPCs) and the SMB1 red platform also have similar effects.

The SMB1 platforms move up or down regardless of what the player does.

There's also an SMW platform like this (the checkered one), but it only falls when you're standing on it, as in it will stop falling once you step off. Lots of styles to choose from, folks.

Yes you did. Sorry about that, should've read more thoroughly.
