hey I can keep this thread going for like 3 months if I upload one old drawing every 3 days let's gooooo

this one is like 2 years old but it holds sentimental value to me
this one isn't very good but i like it regardless stay tuned for more shit

Why would you? Were not gonna judge your previous art that's outdated. Even if someone did, you might have already taken that into consideration and improved it already. I think it's only worth giving you tips when we see your recent art.

if you're talking about the last one, I tried to base it on Star vs Forces of Evil, which has sort of a wack artstyle. That doesn't mean I don't need to work on anatomy though, you should see how I draw arms and legs when they're NOT being covered up by clothes, truly a sight you wouldn't want to see before dying .

Also, when I have a specific pose in mind, I do use references, yes. But if it's just a spontaneous sketch I thought up, I usually only use the official artwork of the character I'm drawing so that I don't forget their hairstyle/clothes etc.
