It could be either of those tbh, but realistically, a software wizard(the program kind) did it.

Can anyone help? When I go to the MEGA link, it gives me an error and says it's trying to retry. Nothing happens. Could anyone help or send it through Dropbox?

This is strange! Wich version of smbx are you trying to download? (1.3, 1.4, 2.0)

I've tried using PlayOnMac to run SMBX (viewtopic.php?f=35&t=11204 in case you haven't seen this yet), and it works okay for 1.3 content, though falls short for the new 2.0 stuff, and presumably most other complicated Lua stuff. However, if you are a student you might be able to get a free copy of Windows 10 which you can install via bootcamp. SMBX should then work 100% perfectly.

Well I Have A Mac And Wanted To Test But...The Unziper Said No and i couldn't open it,which make me sad D;

Just use bootcamp or virtual machine to use Windows, it's kinda useless to run on Mac and waste your time.
EDIT: I'm pretty sure there are virtual machines for Mac.

I really want that game on my Mac. I wish there was a version of a SMBX Mac. If the maker sees my comment. Create it.

Your friend could use something called WineSkin Winery, I do have a mac to test this and it works.
if the files is damaged he can look on google to fix and search a tutorial
