Brazil's government is corrupt as shit and mass protests are being held.

I usually don't care about the internal issues of other countries because its their business and up to them to work it out, but Brazil is getting more interesting. The government officials are claiming no wrong doing because how can a government official do any wrong, and they're not stepping down so a violent overthrow might happen. Maybe something good can come out of this and Brazil can install more representative leaders that actually give a shit about Brazilians and will make Brazil good for more than just FIFA and getting Zika.

Has anyone else been following this at all?

What is happening here are serious cases of corruption involving the current government without that those responsible receive some punishment. When there's an authority condemning the corrupt, there's other 10 defending it.
It's ridiculous to see people supporting the current government, I don't understand it. If everyone had good sense, perhaps this country can progress.

I don't really think anyone is surprised, not even Brazilians that I've seen talking about this.

Think about what's going on after Rio 2016 Olympic Games... Or it will get better (utopic thought) or it will get worse... Because all this stuff will aggravate the actual crisis!

I wonder how the Olympics will be affected if the protests are still active in August?
