Crazy Layer Stuff

I'm the Person who stuck an entire level to a Firebar and make a ship out of a Chasing AI. Roacow made Ghost net.
However, when I look a many projects, those types of uses of layers seem entirely absent. Aside from a joke level In Tower Of Biase 5(?) I haven't seem much of this going on outside the talkhaus. What silly stuff with layers have I been missing?

Well those kind of gimmicks don't work well with non-clashy, polished gameplay

Zephyr made a pretty cool controllable platform by attaching blocks to a Boo.

I've seen this gimmick before, but not well executed.

I have manage to make more workable gimmicks, although I'm not really done with those levels. A pretty obvious use is using them to affecting gravity with vertical movement. I would definitely like to check out some gravity levels. I've only made a 30 second event room, but it's pretty awesome when it is executed. You can get some pretty cool relativistic effects with speed and freefall.

I've happened to make a controllable airship, a point farm, and a skin changer. I'll try to post them sometime.

I can see attaching block layers to NPCs used in a lot of clever ways, too bad it hasn't yet.
