Darkland Tileset!

I'm sorry for those poor elements but thats only because i'm not good at paint.net and drawing.

WARNING: This is only for 1.4.2! You can't use it on normal, however can try recolering the background to black and converting it into smbx format.

The tileset and bushes need more shading
Also the scratches has 1x1 pixels....
Edit : Sorry SMBX 1.4.2 is not supported in this forum......

Sorry but i doubt this will be much help as %90 of the community hates 1.4.x . Perhaps you shouldn't make it an exclusive?

I don't think this is exclusive - it'll probably work with 2.0 if it uses .pngs.
It's almost cool, but the tiles are kinda incosistent.

you should learn how to sprite man. It's a useful skill to have. (not really, but it's fun nevertheless)

From what I see, it seems you wanted to recolor the graphics, but the truth is not difficult to change the color of the graphics. I know you're just starting out but recolor graphics is too easy, it is a staple of Paint.net

* protip: paint.net works better than ms.paint it makes the graphics low quality and overall ugly in ms paint.

They already stated that they use Paint.NET

The tileset is decent, but not great aswell,. But as they say, just work harder to get better! Wish you luck in the future!
(EDIT: I just realized this was a 2016 post, sorry to bump it like that! I'm expecting a warning later so I learn't my lesson from here.)

The tileset is cool, but I feel the shading is off on the goombas. For example, its light on the top of the smaller goombas, but dark on the bottom, but this whole thing is reversed for the big goomba! Try to make shading consistent on everything, it would make it look a lot better.
