About a week ago, in a client that's just a click away (literally not that far from my mouse right now), there was a shitstain who needed the help of the GREAT RAGONT. We will bless this chitstain with the name: "Shkaduw". A lowly disciple, he was ready to call it quits from the intense practicing he had to do. WHEN SUDDENLY HE REALIZED: THE TOURNAMENT HE WAS PLAYING THROUGH WAS NOT SMASH BROTHERS MELEE, BUT SMASH 4. He had been training for the wrong game this whole time, and felt devastated. Now Ragont must restore balance to the world* Shkaduw's honor by hosting an actual Melee tournament For The People.

Dolphin V. 4.0-7840 will be required for this, as we will be utilizing its Netplay feature for the tournament.
Also, use this to get the netplay functionality working with Melee (MAKE SURE ALL YOUR SETTINGS ARE THE SAME AS ON THAT PAGE. IT WILL FUCK UP AND DESYNC MULTIPLE TIMES IF NOT).
YOU MUST HAVE A WORKING SUPER SMASH BROTHERS MELEE ROM THAT IS v1.02 NTSC.
I WILL NOT PROVIDE THIS SO DON'T FUCKING ASK. JUST GOOGLE IT

Begins March 18th and will probably last throughout the next evening.
Max of however the fuck many players idk yet.

-tournament form: probably double elimination with bo5s or round robin depending on how many participants join

Sorry, can't do this. I have some bad memores in regards to Super Smash Bros. Melee for the Nintendo GameCube.

To elaborate, I was BANNED from my local super smash bros melee scene.

They use the local community college to host this and TOLD ME BY EMAIL IF I CAME THERE THEY WOULD NOT ALLOW ME IN. This was out of nowhere so I immediately called the TO, who told me why. He said it was because I was frequently toxic and angry. He said that I yell at players and make them uncomfortable and scared, and that a girl quit because of me. While I DO sometimes get frustrated and vocalize it, so do many other people I am simply being discriminated against my voice is naturally deeper than most. also the truth is a girl never quit that is a complete lie, she was just butthurt that she was worst than everyone there. I'm so fucking irate. I've been a member of this community FOR YEARS and just now I'm a nuisance? I am entitled to a certain level of RESPECT for being a veteran player. I'm looking into finding a lawyer who get me unbanned. There MUST be a law that prevents people from arbitrarily banning others from certain locations without written documents proving it (the TO just SAID I was banned he did not provide any evidence.) The TO isn't rich or anything so I don't think I would have to ask a lot from him, I think he'd break under just pressure of lawsuit.

As a side note, if anyone has a GameCube adapter for Wii U's Smash Bros, here is a link on how to set that up with Dolphin. Works wonders!
