M#: You've Got Another Thing Comin'
-Faction game
-20 player slots
-Typical cardflip after death
-24 hour cycles, unless interrupted by an insta.
5 teams, basically the role lineup is:
-Killing role
-Cardflip discovering role
-Roleblocking role
-Visit discovering/public announcement role
You figure out what your role is. Teamwork and critical thinking is key in this game and every single player will have to be active enough.
Blue Team (law):
-
Veteran - Kills anyone who visits them.
-
Agent - visits someone to find out their color
-
Jailer - Blocks a user from using their power and blocks any actions on that particular user
-
Watcher - Can watch a user and see if they are visited.
Red Team (mafia):
-
Hitman - simply chooses who to kill
-
Lookout - finds out the color of who the player they choose is visited by
-
Bodyguard - dies instead of someone on their team at a nightkill.
-
Tracker - Can track a user and see if they visit someone.
Green Team (citizens):
-
Shooter - Shoots someone and they bleed out by the next night phase
-
Detective - finds out the color of the player they choose visits
-
Doctor - Can choose to protect one living person in the game from a nightkill each night.
-
Town Crier - Can send 5 anonymous messages through the game host during the DAY phase.
Yellow Team (creeps):
-
Serial Killer - simply chooses who to kill, as well as who
-
Old Man - finds out the color of anyone who visits him
-
Bus Driver - Switches the actions committed on any two users of their choice.
-
Homeless - Sneak up to someone and whispers something completely misleading to the targeted user.
Purple Team (cultists):
-
Jester - can kill one person a night, as long as that person voted for them.
-
Oracle - chooses two people (besides themself) and those people find out the roles of each other
-
Cthulu - Silences anyone who visits them for an entire day/night cycle, and nullifies the action committed on them.
-
Dreamer - Has a dream about 4 people, each from different dreams. The Dreamer will dream something associated with each user, normally a color or item that has to do with what team they are on or what role they are.
I can't stress how much our forum needs a game like this - a game where everyone needs to be active & participate, as well as learn how to think critically and deeply about a problem or way to solve things and get out of things, not just give up or bandwagon. I will edit and balance as needed or add/answer explanations/questions. If at all possible, it would be preferred that I didn't host this as I won't be active enough to watch the game closely.
