I'd use OBS or Bandicam. Bandicam is the only screen recorder that works on my computer since I have two graphics cards instead of one like most people built into my computer. It's very user friendly.
IMO the best screen recording is Bandicam, I've tried a lot of others programs but bandicam is the program with less lag and you can record really good quality videos with it. I won't say anything about OBS because I haven't tried it because doesn't work properly for me, however, people says it's good too.
I use bandicam and OBS to record anything on my desktop. Bandicam is good by recording anything desktop and game relative programs while OBS is basically the same thing but it's also good with streaming like on Twitch or Hitbox.
I use Bandicam. The free version has a watermark at the top, but you can record in a bigger space than what you're actually recording, and then crop it down so the watermark isn't visible.
I have used OBS to record some of my footage, but I recorded my entire computer screen and it took forever to open a web browser. It took up almost 99% of my processor. Bandicam is okay. There's a free version which has a 10 minute recording limit and a watermark. I hear that HyperCam sucks. Camtasia is a screen recorder and editor combined, which costs about $300 dollars. I haven't heard much about Fraps. EzVid is a scam.
