Thoughts and opinions on it so far for who ever played it yet, I am already 3 worlds in and it is already shaping up to be one of most difficult platformers I've played but overall its visually stunning and filled with great level design concepts like the saw mill in world 2 for example so lets hear your thoughts and opinions

It is extremely good from what I've played (Up to World 3 right now)
Though 2-K is a mean level and I hate it.

Bought the game today, although I haven't actually even unboxed it as of yet. I expect it to be an excellent and original platformer like Returns, though I've heard it's not quite as difficult as that game.

Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze is probably the best 2D game Nintendo has to offer now. The new dynamic camera they added was a great idea for gameplay experience. The Kong's fur looked pretty detailed and the new levels looked pretty cool. Also Dixie Kong was my favorite partner character because of her propeller ability. But felt that the game didn't use the Gamepad at all, which was a bit bummer to me. And Dixie was probably the most used character because of her ability. But if I had to give a score it would be 9.5. It's the best 2D game Nintendo had to offer now. Me and my friend definitely enjoyed it. Can't wait for Mario Kart 8

Yea they did make the mine cart and rocket levels easier you get 2 hits as opposed to the 1 hit and your done in thosse levels which is a good then because those levels in returns were pretty difficult more less a memory test where you got a little father each time

Yeah, I agree that the ride levels were a bit broken in Returns. I can't imagine being able to beat one of them on my first try. As long as the platforming is still the same, I'll trust it to be great.

The core gameplay remains pretty well intact the way everything is presented is improved upon and the difficult nature of the first one is still there just I find this one a little easier but I am only on world 4 though so the last two worlds could be hell for all I know but if you liked the first one your gonna love this one
