Welcome to my first episode for SMBX Dr. Wilys Empire, a mega man based episode.
I created this episode over the years by my self i hope you enjoy.
And don't forget to leave a feedback
To enter one of the eight worlds, you must jump on one of the nine images and press up (you enter it like a door).
Level exits are small super mario bros. castles that are entered through the doors!
There are 9 worlds, the 8 robot master & dr. wilys castle.
You need 8 stars to enter the final world (dr. wilys castle).
You get one star for each world after you defeated the boss.
The 8 Robot Masters (Worlds) are:
Air Man (Sky World)
Bomb Man (City World)
Guts Man (Mountain World)
Flame Man (Lava World)
Bubble Man (Water World)
Gemini Man (Ice World)
Skull Man (Ghost World)
Snake Man (Jungle World)
& Dr Wily's Castle

UPDATED NEW VERSION! (V.2) Changelog:
General:
Banned Peach and Toad as a playable character.
Fixed the possibility to walk over/under stages.
Added a custom sprite for platforms and vegetables.
Added checkpoints for every level.
Removed a castle from the worldmap.
Changed credits.
Level Changes:
1-4 Moved checkpoint.
2-2 Replaced the SMW gras.
2-3 Replaced the SMW gras.
2-4 Changed the fight against Bomb Man.
3-3 Fixed the death sprite of thwomps and an issue where you could get stuck.
3-4 Replaced in Guts Mans room the pow blocks with vegetables.
4-3 Changed music.
4-4 Replaced ropes with chains.
5-3 Level autoscrolls now. Added some pits. Replaced vine with a springboard. Added coins.
6-1 Small block changes.
6-2 Added missing background opjectes.
6-4 Overworked the look of the level (way less flashing blocks).
7-1 Added some pits.
8-2 Increased size of the caves.
8-3 Added fire after you destroyed the tree and fixed a visual bug.
Wily Stage 3 Fixed some parts where you could get stuck. Added a powerup in Gemini Mans room.
Wily Stage 4 Replaced in Guts Mans room the pow blocks with vegetables.
Future changes in V.3 (will be done after more bugs/glitches or other issues were found):
You can now see which worlds you have already completed on the "world select stage".
4-1 Removed some blocks.
Wily Stage 3 The Blocky Enemie (pokey) will no longer walk on the moving platform and fall over.
Small detail fixes with bushes.

Cool nice  but i need to update the episode cause i found a LITTLE gfx bug in the Stage Select screen. But it's only a small optical bug.

Looks ...... a little bit crazy.
Like a crossover of Mario and MegaMan (MM is going to come in 2.0).
The map looks a litthe bit 3D.

I've updated this episode and fixed some issues and changed a lot of things. Download link is updated.
Changelog:
General:

Gotta admit, this is one of few episodes i did enjoy playing.
I attempted to try and play it as Megaman itself. Since i guess you build this up on Mario and Luigi most of the time it is kinda difficult for Megaman, but that makes it more fun to me.
I did like the way the stages are designed and that you can choose from where to start. Music is also very fitting, of course i enjoyed the Wily Stages the most of this.
Gotta ask you tho.. i plan on doing a Mega Man Episode with the 2.0 Megaman, and i saw that you used a lot of Megaman tiles and stuff here. And what i wanna ask is if i could be able to use them since i didn't find any other Megaman gfx here yet. And if i can.. does all the credit go to you or did you get them also from other people?

The only gfx i've got from other people are the wily capsle sprite (but i changed a few details), the Mettaur, Air Man, Skull Man, Flame Man & the Tileset for Wily Stage 2. Except those i did all mega man sprites by myself. But there are also a few little gfx i took from gfx packs like the minecart ect. But i can't remember where exactly i've got those gfx cause it was a few years ago.
And yes you can use those gfx if you want ^^
And thx for the feedback it makes me happy too see that people actually play and enjoy this episode

I really like this episode, it had its own feel to it that separated it from other episodes. I'm not a reviewer, but I'll do my best to review this episode. Firstly, the level design. I felt it was fair and had a sensible amount of power-ups. (Not like 16 in the same exact area.) I also felt the enemies were well placed and were fair too. The levels were especially interesting, as with any Mega Man game it can't have a progressive difficulty. I thought it worked well in terms of difficulty progression. I also felt the level design seemed natural and enjoyable to play. However, I do have some criticism. At times the levels felt a bit repetitive with the limited number of enemies that were used overall in the game. Also I felt the large amount of sniper joes (the hammer bros) were a bit unnecessary in certain parts or levels. I also would have liked to see a few more gimmicks.
Next, the design and art style. It is amazing that you created most of the graphics for this episode, well done. The 8-bit to 16-bit sprites looked lovely and polished and I couldn't see anything wrong with them. My personal favorite was the Mecha dragon, it had so much detail put into it! The levels looked nice, and I liked the foreground and background pillars as well. However, I must criticize how a few levels seemed a little uninspiring, like the beach stage in Bubble Man's world. I feel this way as the palm trees seemed a bit generic. Also, though not too bad, I think the SMB3 blocks clashed with the rest of the stage at times. Perhaps you could have re textured the blocks or used other ones.
Lastly, the feel of the episode. It had a very unique feel with it and I liked the new ideas of a city world and a ghost world.
In total, It was a good episode that was worth playing. 7.5/10
Oh and one last thing, do you mind if I use your graphics such as the sniper joes in my own game? I would really appreciate it if I could. Thanks
