Super Yoshi Smash (WIP Community Episode)

Hello everybody! I'm proud to announce my first community project, which is called...

The graphics are mostly from Squishy Rex's CGFX Pack, so a big thanks to him! Anyway, this wouldn't be much of a project without screenshots, so I've got a screenshot from every level currently a ways below. Also, here's the full plot:

One day, Yoshi and his friend Rex are hanging out in Yoshi's house, talking about their adventures together. Yoshi: '...so Mario punched me, saying 'Eat those apples and poop out flowers! Gimme them all day!' and I flipped him off right into a school of Cheep Cheeps.' Rex: 'Ha! Mario sure is turning into Wario, huh?' Then Blue Yoshi comes into Yoshi's house. Blue Yoshi: 'Yoshi! Rex! I was sleeping under the waterfall and when I woke up, my egg was gone! I looked around the village and everyone's eggs were gone!' Yoshi: 'Bowser must be back up to his tricks on us Yoshies.' Rex: 'Oh no! I had better help too! Let's go save the eggs!' Blue Yoshi sets off saying, 'Thanks! I may help you along your journey with tips! I'll always be near water!' And with that, another great Yoshi adventure begins!
The worldmap is done, it's just that I don't have screenshots for it yet. If you want your level in here, PM me with the link for it. If it's the kind of level I'm looking for, I'll add it and if it's not, I'll PM you with how you can make it better.
Level Requirements:
Spoiler: show
->Level must be fun and completely possible.
->Custom graphics or SMW graphics are recommended. For custom graphics, tell me who made them so I can give credit.
->NO REXES! Rex is a playable character, so it wouldn't make much sense for Rex to be squashing Rexes.
->NO YOSHIS! Same logic as before. People don't just mount each other.
->Level must have 5 dragon coins and a hidden SMW star.
->Level must have a SMW exit with the correct height in normal levels or a SMB3 boss exit in dungeons.
->Just make the main castle with castle levels; I'll make the boss fight and exit.
->Blue Yoshi can give you tips as long as he's near water. This is the only exception to the Yoshi rule.
->All power-ups should be SMB3, as that's what's retextured.
->Levels must fit the theme of both the level type (aboveground, underground, etc.) and the world.
->Levels must be appropriate for children; I want this episode to be for all ages.

I think it's pretty cool that you're doing a SMW styled project, as I myself love SMW and you mostly see SMB3 graphics around here. This looks really interesting, will you need any beta-testers later on? :)

The project looks good. However, in the first screenshot there's cutoff.

I recomend you to use LunaLua to adjust player's hitboxes because right now it looks odd seeing Yoshi in the ground. Or just make the player invisible, put him on the Yoshi NPC, and lock the alt button (via LunaLua) so that the player won't jump off him.

3 replies in the first day? Well, that's cool! Here are my replies to everybody who has replied so far. (Actually, I'm working on the support banners now!)

Actually, I don't really know how to use LunaLua just yet, but I guess I could try to figure it out. Nice suggestion!

You mean the BGOs? That's actually intended; it's meant to look like the rope is weaving in/out of the tree. I guess I could fix that, though.

This looks good. What character does yoshi replace? I might try to make a level for this in the future.

And now there are two of my favorite SMBXers who have replied to my project. I guess there are lots of Yoshi-lovers on the community...anyway, here's a reply to DarkWorlf658.

I noticed that yoshi's feet are stuck in the ground. I would recommend fixing that if you can. If not, then i belive there is a custom yoshi graphic in the smb3 graphics section of the CGFX that replaces toad, but it only has the small, big, and fire forms.

Yeah...I'll get to that soon. I'll just move some graphics up several pixels and see if that helps. Thanks for telling me about the SMB3 Yoshi graphic! Also, I'd be very grateful if you made a level. I'm a very big fan of your levels, so I won't have any complaints about you making a level for me!

True, sorry. I'd submit a level myself, but unfortunately I'm just way too busy these days to work on anything SMBX-related...
