Can't play custom-made levels

Postby MichaeI » Wed Dec 30, 2015 10:25 am

Hello, whenever I download a level, extract it, and put it under worlds, it doesn't appear in the SMBX levels (like the cliche and invasion).

What do I do to play it?

Only Episodes that have a .wld file in their folder will appear in the main game. If you want to play singular levels that you downloaded, it's easier to just play them in the level editor.

What files have a .wld file? Also is there any way to play those levels on SMBX and not editer, cause there's no sound. I tried to play levels from "the best" forums, (like Moontains and most levels at the top)

The .wld files are world maps. They are used when designing episodes rather than standalone levels. As Marina said, you can play singular levels in the editor.

Unfortunately, there's no way to play singular levels outside of the editor (or battle mode, I suppose, although that'd be a little strange). Sound should still play in the editor though, I'm not sure why it wouldn't. Make sure "disable sound" is not checked in the launcher.
