Unfortunately, that's low priority, and very complex to fix. The plan is to eventually support 2-player mode with new characters, but it won't be for a while.

Oh, ok. Thanks for the info. It's great anyway that we at least have the new characters/other features available to begin with.

I do occasionally play 2-player mode with my siblings and friends, though I've also found it to be an interesting and somewhat fun challenge to set P1 and P2 to the same controls and try to complete levels as both Mario and Luigi, sometimes Mario and Link. Takes lots of concentration though.. haha

I first saw this form of SMBX by watching Horikawa Otane's videos. It was really cool. I really dont want to hardcode every character that's coming soon into the game because that's hard stuff (i couldn't get Mega Man to work). I just want someone to PM me a copy of it. nmaybe then, i could be satisfied and i could leave you guys alone about this topic

Why can't you just accept that you missed it and wait for the next version? It was a limited-time release and now it's gone

There's nothing so much interesting in Open Beta 3 that 5 new characters. Also as I saw in videos and some people saying, that Ninja Bomber is a bit broken.

So yeah, it's almost the same thing that the previous one except for the new characters it's completely different, I think.

That's....really not that accurate. Like half the characters got complete overhauls, there's just a ton more polish in general, you don't have to load any lua files to use the new features, there's new npcs, cheats, blocks, the Mario Challenge, more default episodes, etc., it's basically NOTHING like the december release.

It was only available for a limited time. If you didn't get it within the time period the download link was up then you'll have to wait for the next release

i ment that you can make spike the dragon playble (with fire abilities with dll) ok?
