#Daeshbags

The hacker group Anonymous is planning a strong attack on ISIS through social media, announcing December 11 as "ISIS Trolling Day".

http://www.digitaltrends.com/web/anonym ... lling-day/

It caught my attention in that it's an exercise in trolling (though I wouldn't be any good at that). They want people to post the hashtags "Daesh" and "Daeshbags" when they post against ISIS, and they also want goat pictures which reference the wives of ISIS leaders.

One goal of Anonymous is to show that there are more people who are against ISIS than who support them; another is to get pro-ISIS accounts removed from Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube. I think there's one more goal, as Anonymous also wants people to show that ISIS does not represent true Islam.

Normally, I am strongly against trolling. But in the case of ISIS, I really want to see the results of what Anonymous does.

Durka durka Anonymous is garbage why are you sharing this Muhammad jihad.

EDIT: Forgot to mention that there's more constructive ways of combating of ISIS going on by France raiding Mosques and removing war grade weapons. For the life of me I don't why Anonymous thinks they're doing any good by "trolling" people with no internet access and not supporting legitimate efforts.

Yes, it's going to be very interesting to see!

Anonymous praises the public's participation.

I think the idea is to go after the powers that do have internet access. They would make the more important ISIS accounts more visible so that they can be targeted. When the higher-ups are knocked down, smaller ISIS members will have insufficient time to rebuild.

I think what Anonymous is doing is rather amusing and smart. While they attack, the media helps deliver blow to their morales. That's only if everything goes to plan.

This plan seems rather... odd, but it will show that people do not like what they do... but they are insane/extremist, they are like teenagers that care about everything (sorry to teenagers , i had to use something as an example and well it came to my mind first...) there could be better ways, but if it works then maybe, maybe it will have an explosion reaction.

Oh, look! It's ISIS Trolling Day.

You know, if Anonymous is planning like a strong attack on ISIS, I think they should really load the big guns. It's ISIS vs. the World. But hey... ISIS Trolling Day is a thing just for today. After what happened at the Paris and San Bernardino attacks, the World must load the big guns on ISIS, or it's the end of the World.
