This episode's progress has been delayed to make way for an idea of mine. Wanna know what it is? Too bad its a surprise.
Remember that episode I made? That boss rush? Yea, that one that had a lot of problems like Wario's impossible star problem. Infinity Rush will be the Awesome Boss Rush 2.0. It will have many noticeable changes.
Changes:
Map usage instead of the bad design for the hub world.
Bosses compressed (instead of the bosses having a separate level, sections are used for the boss selection room, and the 8 bosses.)
Door and SMW star instead of the SMB3 star.
Instead of exiting level, you will go back to the boss selection room when a boss is defeated.
9th door in boss selection room to unlock path to next castle.
Bonus Fights (Rewards nothing except feeling proud. Bonus Fights are usually near impossible, and/or NPC spam. This is why they are optional, and can be skipped.)
Screenshots:
Castle Progress
Koopalings: 2/8
Ocean Bosses: 0/8
???: 0/8
Downloads:
None yet.
ABR 1.3 is being salvaged for graphics and bosses.

I prefer a cramped, unintuitive hub world over a world map where it takes 20 seconds to walk between certain levels. Especially for boss rushes, in my opinion, working with a hub and making said hub decent is way easier than going through the trouble of trying to make an appropriate world map for it.
Also I hope this won't just be vanilla bosses with minor changes to the arena or their .txt files. There are figuratively a million other boss rushes out there which are like that, so one could just play them instead. Especially since some of them are REALLY long.

I plan to make this not be a simple modification to a txt file. The map is being used, as the old hub was just annoying after a while. It would have a main hub world, which would take you to another hub where you could choose a boss. Now, the map is used to let to choose a castle. In the castle, is the area where you choose a boss. It's a bit hard to describe, but it will help.
Also, Map is being used because 8 bosses per castle and Infinity Rush is eventually going to get more bosses than ABR had (which was 80).

Don't forget to make it enjoyable and fair.

To be honest, I kinda liked the hub but I'm still looking forward to this.
This sounds like if it would be better then the old boss rush since it just gets boring when you fight a Ludwig 27 times (just saying

).

Seems people actually liked the original hub style. With the release will be a hub version.

I wonder how "awesome" this can be.
Also no offense but, can't you make something different then boss rushes?
Or will this be the last one and then you try making a real episode?

I make boss rushes because I fail at making real episodes. I have tried many times, then randomly lose all interest the next day, abandon it, and go do something else.

The world map is pretty bland, I'd suggest to put some sceneries on it.
