Was on YouTube, watching an average video, and then I see THIS in the comments section: Has anybody seen this before on a different video, or even the SAME video?
(The video in question was this one.)

I think it's an username filled with glitch text or something idk

It's not happening for me. I get the test "Yellow Soul" in the correct position, with three of the same unusual symbol on the left, and three on the right. When I look at the user profile, it just says the screen name is "Soul" with a single symbol on the right.

One a more related note, that is pretty strange that so far, I've only seen this Yellow Soul thing the way I have. Again, if someone has an identical experience, let me know.

Based on this and inspection of what mechamind brought up, I think it's safe to say that that guy's (Yellow Soul's) account is causing it.
The question is, how the heck did he do that? What characters are those even supposed to be?

Her comment wasn't even directed at you, she was saying that he's basically trolling with his name. I suggest you drop the overly sarcastic tone.

I mean judging by the name it's clearly Mettaton's new PR stunt.

Or alternatively it's yee haw.

Looks like someone abusing Unicode control characters. YouTube should probably fix this though.

I find this kind of disturbing, but I don't recall ecountering any YouTube glitch with me.
