Pokémon Triad Master is a game that not only focuses on Pokémon battling, but more on the "minigame" Triple Triad from Final Fantasy. It still features Pokémon battling, however, for the fact of gaining Pokémon so you can buy their cards from the shop. If you do not know what Triple Triad is, Google is your friend.

Hmm. Looking good. I gotta say this looks impressive. The plot sounds good and based on screenshot I'm probably looking forward to this even though I'm a not a Pokemon fan. Good luck on this.

Thanks, zlakerboy357! You should try the first demo, the plot now isn't cut off by the way =)

First demo up for grabs! Contains first town and Route 1, where you can test the mechanics of Triple Triad against Tim. Battles can also be done consecutively for now. Alpha 1.5 will hopefully change that though.

EDIT:
I've noticed the game.ini file is missing, I will include it in Alpha 1.0 - for now it's unplayable. You can copy Alpha 1.0's game.ini over to Alpha 0.9 if you ever want to see how bad the game was back then.

EDIT: Alpha 1.0 is out! Contains Cersus City and the first gym leader, who is stubborn and won't give you his badge.

Quick news update for you guys - I'm working on a subreddit, and Alpha 1.1 should be out tomorrow. Any feedback on the game so far?

lol, when I saw Triad, I was thinking of Rise of The Triad (if you know this game, you are awesome, +5 internets to you).

Anyways, neat idea, can't wait for it to come out!

Update: I just realised I had most of Alpha 1.1 prepared. I did my little developer magic and got it into a 7z, but I'm still working on how to compress everything into an executable. It's now added to the OP, along with a news section. Check there and not here for all new updates.

I think I just abused the lack of a conditional branch when you win a duel.
