Pokémon Triad Master

Pokémon Triad Master is a game that not only focuses on Pokémon battling, but more on the "minigame" Triple Triad from Final Fantasy. It still features Pokémon battling, however, for the fact of gaining Pokémon so you can buy their cards from the shop. If you do not know what Triple Triad is, Google is your friend.

Plot

The whole of the Terni region has gone wild about the new game, Triple Triad. Professor Spruce has asked Red and [Insert player name here] to investigate a religious cult he thinks has something to do with Triple Triad. Is Professor Spruce right? Can Red and the player stop them? Find out in Pokémon Triad Master!

Battling is not only your key to success - you also gain some of the opponents cards, which is vital in progressing through the game.

Alpha 1.0 - Celsus City claims it is Cedolan City inside it's Dept. Store. FIXED IN ALPHA 1.1
Alpha 0.9+ - If you lose your first match you can't battle again until you buy another card in Cersus City

Hmm. Looking good. I gotta say this looks impressive. The plot sounds good and based on screenshot I'm probably looking forward to this even though I'm a not a Pokemon fan. Good luck on this.

Thanks, zlakerboy357! You should try the first demo, the plot now isn't cut off by the way =)

First demo up for grabs! Contains first town and Route 1, where you can test the mechanics of Triple Triad against Tim. Battles can also be done consecutively for now. Alpha 1.5 will hopefully change that though.

EDIT:
I've noticed the game.ini file is missing, I will include it in Alpha 1.0 - for now it's unplayable. You can copy Alpha 1.0's game.ini over to Alpha 0.9 if you ever want to see how bad the game was back then.

Sorry guys, I haven't been able to work on this game for a little while. I'll start work on it again today.

Update: I just realised I had most of Alpha 1.1 prepared. I did my little developer magic and got it into a 7z, but I'm still working on how to compress everything into an executable. It's now added to the OP, along with a news section. Check there and not here for all new updates.
