I like this level. Although, there was no checkpoint in the level, so I guess Waddle Derp edited it out completely. There really should have been one before the chase area.
The first, third, and fourth Dragon Coins were far too easy to get, and the fifth one should have been to the right a little more. There was a lack of powerups, but you made up for that with a low difficulty. I could see this as a World 1 Ghost House in an episode.

Overall, this should go in Pretty Good, in my opinion.

Thanks for that review, EpicMarioBro! I thought I re-placed the checkpoint, but I probably forgot to save after that. As for the other things you mentioned, those all have to do with difficulty, and I didn't really want it to be too hard. I'm glad you enjoyed it, though. Did you find the lack of powerups a problem or not? I couldn't derive that from your review.

Yes, you made up for it with a low difficulty. It was not a problem.

{Gameplay: 10Pts | Scenery/Music: 10Pts}

Gameplay:
7 out of 10
Your level is a good size, not too long or short and I really enjoyed it! The level wasn't hard but it wasn't something you just rush through in a minute or two. There were a variety of things to do like getting through mazes, avoiding enemies, and jumping. You're always moving around and I'd say you took the concept and made a really good use of it.

I didn't have any issues with things like enemy placement, which was decent and power-up placement which I only counted an ice flower (but this level isn't very long so I'd excuse it, if not say add something else at another point at the very point.)

Really I don't have any complaints as far as gameplay goes, it was enjoyable and it was fair, which are two very important things I believe a level should be. ~

Scenery/Music:
8 out of 10 {4.5Pts Scenery | 3.5Pts Music}
The scenery is great. I see it and it's an abandoned place you have to explore. The enemies look nice too and really there isn't a need for a ton of things considering when you think of abandoned places you think of dark, empty, and just suspicious. I get that feeling from these graphics and the background looks well done as well. The SMB3 brick blocks stand out more to me from the rest of the graphics but it's not a major complaint, likely just a personal preference. It's a good looking level though, regardless.

Your music selection is rather good as well, although my only criticism against it is that it seems too loud. I would imagine it being quieter or perhaps of lower tone would help add to the setting, but still it does it's job. It's calm, yet has that tinge of "something suspicious/ ominous" to it.

Conclusion:
15 out of 20Pts {7Pts Overall {Rounded from 7.50}}
Overall I enjoyed this level! It looks good, it really has the setting you were aiming for and while I had a lack of problems with it, the two criticisms I had are nothing major, but instead just what I think would help in giving the level the best setting.

I also really liked that chase at the end, running from the approaching darkness, having to get through mazes and enemies. That's the kind of challenge that makes puzzle games so fun.

Keep at it! ~
