Hello, people of the SMBX forums! This is my first project. I wanted my first project to be something good but didn't want to take forever designing it, so I decided to do it MegaMan style, which is where you have a 6-8 long levels that you can do in any order then a super-long final level. And now, here's the poster for the episode:

Yes, I finally got my episode poster updated, so it doesn't look as crappy anymore. Anyway, here's the story and some screenies. I've got a few new screenshots, and given feedback about some of my old screenshots, I'm gonna redo some of my levels. So, here you go:
Story:
Spoiler: show
The adventure begins with our Italian plumber Mario who had just once again saved the princess from Bowser's clutches. Mario sat in his house, tired from his quest. With nothing else to do, he grabbed the stack of mail on the table. Fanmail, fanmail, and more fanmail. Geez, didn't these guys ever get tired of sending all these letters. While he was sorting through all of the mail, something caught his eye. It was a flyer for a vacation island. Then it hit Mario. That's just what he needed. So, after visiting the docks to discuss the price of travel with the captain of a ship, he decided he would go and told the captain to expect him in a week to take him to the vacation islands. After discussing his vacation with his friends, Toad and Link, and his brother, Luigi, they decided they wanted to go too. So, Mario and everyone packed for the big day. Everyone paid their price of admission to get on board the boat, and it set sail for the islands where Mario and company would be able to relax. Alas, their trip had to be ruined by something. While Mario and company were having a great time with the crew of the ship, a great storm came out of nowhere and rocked the ship. Everybody did everything they could, but it wasn't enough. The ship started sinking, so everyone abandoned it and swam to a nearby island. Fortunately, nobody was missing. After getting stuck on this island, they got together and used what little they managed to scavenge up to build a camp. As Mario, who is so tired it's a battle just to keep his eyes open, gets into the bed, he notices a tall, mysterious tower off in the distance. He thinks nothing of it, and goes to sleep. This is the start of a grand adventure to stop an ancient, powerful evil.

Now this looks pretty poor quality. The first and last screens show extreme amounts of flat terrain, the second screen has one bump but that's it, and I see an extreme lack of backgrounds throughout the last 3 screenshots. The second screen also has bad clash between SMB3 and LoZ objects. The first screen does too, but it's only the goomba, so it's much less noticable.

I know. I was trying to experiment, but I guess it didn't work out.
