Simple question. Have you met any famous people in real life? I know a few, both personally and only for a few seconds:
Tony Diterlizzi (author of The Spiderwick Chronicles): My 5th grade class went on a field trip to meet him. And he likes Mega Man games ;A;
Mark Levin (radio talk show host): He had a book signing for a book that he wrote and I went with my family. He told my parents to get me and my brother ice cream XD
Brittany Lauda (voice of Audrey from HuniePop, Mirim from Queen's Blade Rebellion, and Fluttershy from MLP:FIM mobile games): Odd as this sounds, she was a counselor for a summer camp I went to way back in 2010, so I knew her on a personal level. And then she went on to be famous ;-; I recently got back in contact with her but that's another story xd

I have met Adam Savage, co-host of the TV series MythBusters, as I went to middle school with his kid (I live in San Francisco on the US west coast, where the show is filmed). He seemed like a good guy.

I was in the same phone store as Robin Williams one time in early 2008. I didn't talk to him but should have.
I've also met Herbie Hancock and Chick Corea. The former you've probably heard of, and the latter is an amazing pianist that is somewhat famous. I got to see them live earlier this year, and it was incredible.

Funny you mention that. One of their stops during their tour actually stopped in my city so I actually got to meet both Adam and Jamie. Needless to say that was my best day. ~

I met the cook from Anonymous Gourmet (a Brazilian cooking program) when I was around 7 years old.
And last year I met a guy at a vinyl fair that was apparently a famous singer here in Brazil, but I didn't recognize him (yeah, it's a shame to not know the famous people of your own country).
