How about a pile of leaves at the bottom? Or just a pile of leaves replacing a different foreground object which one can then place at the bottom of the tree.

Woah! Looks really nice! This would be a great conclusion to the autumn gfx, but I don't want them to end! Great job!

I like it, however the base/stumpyish part looks a little top cartoony and off for SMB3 in my opinion. I'd make it a little skinnier. Either way I think I might use this graphic at some point. Good job.

I have to be honest, this is a little small for a tree. Looks more like a bush to me. (Maybe it's a sapling)
Other than that, it looks quite fine. I can't wait to see what autumn-themed GFX you make next!
