A dark sorcerer has come to the Mushroom Kingdom and distorted reality! Mario must defeat the sorcerer and return things back to normal!
Yes, that's all the plot you get. My goal is to do unique and interesting things with graphics and design. Also, to make a fun episode featuring a combination of linear and non-linear levels. Featuring graphics from me, PROX, Emral, Elbow, and others. For example:

god those are probably some of the most ugliest tilesets ive ever had the misfortune on laying my eyes on

i don't care what your title or plot is, nothing justifies graphics like that.

on the bright side those who misuse the term "clash" can finally use it properly when referring to this episode.

Ok, but I like my graphics...

I agree, those are some ugly GFX.

It's really just that white thing with the squares that makes it look bad. Other then that, it looks like a pretty fun level.

also almost every post in this thread is about the graphics lol

Are you looking to create something you enjoy or are you looking to create an episode intended for others to enjoy?

I MIGHT be able to design the world map, but you would have to PM me the graphics, as I have no clue what you would like. (and no i'm not searching all day for a world map tile set that fits.

Some of both. I genuinely thought these GFX were cool and you guys would like them :/

I won't say they are downright awful, but I do think you could improve plenty. Look around for GFX/spriting tutorials in places like deviantart or ask Enjl to send you tutorials.

A calm relaxing snow level. Somewhat linear.

Try moving the bushes and it's gold.
Also, there's a green bush right next to an otherwise identical white bush...?

The green bushes are sheltered by the roof. Thanks for the feedback! How should I move the bushes?

I'd remove the green bush in that screen altogether.
