SMB1 Yoshi Egg (+ Yoshi NPC)

Super Mario Bros. Deluxe for the GameBoy Color had an 8-bit SMB1 styled Yoshi sprite and I remade it in SMAS style. It's only an NPC as you can only make that much with the two frames from SMB Deluxe. Maybe someone will sprite more frames to create a full ridable SMB1 Yoshi. Anyway here's the NPC, and also a Yoshi egg that you could find useful!

I'm willing to bet the Super Mario Maker Yoshi costume was based on this. Someone could re-do Yoshi's running and jumping from this.

If it helps, there's a Mari0 mod called Alesan's entities that contains a ride able Yoshi using these sprites. In order to extract it, just right click the application file and extract with Winrar.

That's perfect, now they just need to put it all together.

Lol. Very nice! I guess the redoing of the complete green Yoshi (yoshib-1 and yoshit-1) will be easier than doing the rest of the Yoshi colors, since you got now something to get the colors from for the green Yoshi. (Don't blame me if I'm wrong, I haven't been spriting for SMBX until now, just did a golden Koopa with a spike once as a young teen I don't have anymore... but that didn't even stick to the 15 bit palette)
