Level Making Thread

Hi! This thread is supposed to be helpful. It's goal is to make people build better levels, by having everyone know about that little bit, and everyone criticizing it. Of course, use constructive criticism and don't be rude. Example:

I'm making a swamp fortress level. In the entrance of the fortress there's a hole in the floor that's all water. It's an alternate path. Should it have a star, a secret power up, or something else?

Maybe if you change the hole to be bigger, or have something like an arrow pointing forwards and one backwards, the player will know that you can go there. Because if I was playing, I'd think that it was a trap.


Okay! Just ask for suggestions. Remember, you're not forced to do what people tell you! We're trying to make your level better, but if you don't like our opinion, you don't need to do it.

We already have the Level Design Tips topic for that purpose. You could use that instead of making a new topic that is basically the same thing.

Or you could like post it under casuals and learn there.
