It's pretty basic. I just took 2 rexes, made sure they were on 2 different frames, copy-pasted them, and recolored.

Also noticed that they were on 1 base color on a Light-Medium-Dark scale so I did that too. Pretty neat, huh?
Yeah not too unique...
Green Rex-Throws 1 green hammer every 10 seconds. They knock out what's currently in your Reserve Box if they hit you, but they won't kill you. Will walk off cliffs.

Blue Rex-Freezes anything he touches. Even other rexes. Also fires Iceballs.

Red Rex-Breathes fire, like a real dragon! He only does it if you're on the same level of ground as him, and he has to recharge every 5 seconds. Phew!

Yellow Rex-Jumps high, and smashes his head into the ground where you're standing. Like SMB3 Bowser, but significantly easier to dodge and not a boss.

Pink Rex-Blows pink bubbles that other entities can get caught in. Even players. And bosses. But they don't appear in boss rooms so you have to lure one in. And super rare.

Did the same thing with a Yoshi, but I made it gray! You may notice that the shell is green. I did that so that it resembled a Koopa's shell. Maybe he stole it? This is the same thing, except it's him grabbing an entity and holding it in his mouth. This is just him Jumping. Not too wierd.
I think he'd be able to shoot entities out as a smoke ball that slowly does damage to entities. Even players. And bosses. He'd be rare to find, though.

I had to post these in different posts due to the Attachment Limit. This is Orange Yoshi. He's got a Red Shell. I think his ability is kinda like Purple Yoshi's but with fire-he can shoot it without a shell. Here he's got an entity... And here's him jumping.

I don't know what he'd do. Any suggestions?

Is that how you spell Tanuki? Okay. Probably not. I might use these in a LoZ Homage SMBX Episode. It'd turn Link into Fairy Link. Here's the Upgrade. He can turn into a statue with this one.

Since when recolors are art?

I'd suggest you look into LunaLua and try to find a way to actually implement some of these, because they're pretty good ideas.

How to be an artist:
1)Take a sprite
2)Recolor it
3)PROFIT

On-Topic: The recolors look good, but I ask the same question as RudeGuy. And also the ideas are interesting.

We get too many SMB3 stuff, but this kind of art is actually great.
Super Mario World needs sprites that use enough colors though, but the way you did them makes them look like that they have enough color in them.

Yeah it is, it's october! I'll change it back to normal when November comes.

Soo I've recolored another thing! The Snowshoe! It disables Slipping on Ice! Ice Jumping is now 5x easier! GET IT FREE IF YOU CREDIT ME! Yeah. A Snow Shoe.

Is it a download, and if so, is it under 7.25 gb? Also, this is a new computer and already I have used over 50% of it's hard drive.
It also thinks my kindle is a printer.
