Remember "The Flintstones: Treasure of Sierra Madrock"?... Didn't think so. It was a little platformer for the SNES based on the Flintstones, I used to play it a lot when I was a kid and decided to port the first world's tileset over to SMBX. http://www.mediafire.com/download/tlse4 ... nJelly.zip

This actually looks pretty good. A background, a sizable, and some more BGOs would be nice and the top corner pieces really need to be added. Try creating some slopes too.
I will try to add more, but since nobody has actually ripped the sprites for the game this is from, I have to find screenshots that have the different tiles in them and cut them out myself, which makes it a little difficult.

So if they will be SMB1 or SMW recolored, they will suck?
Nice rip also.
Also, How about SMB2? I feel that SMB2 Gets ignored too much.
Also, I agree with Tinkerbell, SMB3 Recolors are overrated as hell.
I agree myself that SMB3 is highly overrated, but since there are no NPCs and few BGOs in this tileset, I really saw no way it could really be used in a quality level. SMB3 (and SMW) seem(s) to be the most predominantly used style (s), so therefore I suggested an SMB3 recolour--to make it more useful.
The update looks quite good. I'm glad you added corners and the barrel.
