I thought it may be good to have a bunch of color palettes in one place to save us the trouble of googling them.
SMB1: SMB2: SMB3: SMW: YI: NES (remember that for a graphic to truly be NES, it can only use 4 colors including transparency) If you find any others that you feel need to be added, just post them here and I'll add them to the main post.

also if this could be sticky that would be good

I've got a doubt about these palettes, they serve both for NPCs and for backgrounds?

Why, in the palette of SMB3, there is a version for both Blocks and NPCs, and other for the backgrounds of the game.

I'm 100% sure about the NES one working for both, though not for any of the others and I know SMB3 has others. I think I'm gonna add the SMB3 ones now.

Finally! Thanks Henry Richard, now I dont need to dig though games or graphics packs to find these pallets.

Excellent idea, and a great job! Better than this only linking palette specific files (.pal).

Didn't Squishy originally do this without the NES palette? Well, even if he did, this looks good too. Nice job
