You might have too much stuff in the level, I've never encountered this glitch so I wouldn't know so much about why it crashes

How many blocks, npcs, etc. dose it have?
You see, an SMBX level has limits to it.
If you pass the limit, you'll get Runtime error 6.
These are the limits to every SMBX level:
You can only have 20,000 blocks in a level, this goes for all kinds except for npc blocks.
You can only have 5,000 npc in a level, all 292 npc will each count as 1 npc when added to the level.
You can only have 8,000 background objects in a level, use this wisely and carefully depending on the way you use it.
You can only have 2,000 warps set in a level, I am not sure why it would be this much needed in one level, but of course one entrance and one exit equal to one warp.
There is also a limit to layers and events, and they both add up to 99 each.
However, layer and events limits don't crash the game but instead; doesn't allow you to add anymore respectively.
If it passes any of the four main limits, you'll have to delete some of them until it is close (I don't know about having it on the exact limit) to the level's limit.
This is a safety fact when making levels and definitely, showing them in public.

Almost everything you said here is false.
The block limit is 16384 blocks, there are 302 NPCs in SMBX, you can have only 200 Warps, not 2,000 (lol wtf) and the layer and event limit is 100.
Here's a full documantation of SMBX's limits:

Actually there is no limit to events and layers, but it lags if you add about 1000 of them and if there are more than 100, SMBX in game crashes.

Actually, I got a bit blind with warps.
And most of this information was from the game itself.
In addition, there are only 292 npcs according to the game from a SMB3 Goomba to Toad's Boomerang (what are npcs 293-302 by the way?).
I guess that the limits weren't written properly just like the help page.

There are some NPCs after the 292th that maybe had to be added in a future version of SMBX. They can still be used, but they're quite strange.

Yeah, don't believe what SMBX debugger says, some limits there are wrong and they're actually different.
