What do we really need?

What's dis all about

Ever wonder where are those super mario world graphics you're looking for, but the system says it's oversearched so it doesn't seach for it? Yah, scrolling thru 47 pages is no fun and I am living proof. That's why I'll leave this here. What do we really need? What do people want to see? What is missing? Post it in the comments and I may add it to the list!

1. Super Mario World - Super mario world is given no love. Almost nobody makes graphics that have SMW exclusive enemies on it. You want an example? Y'know these Golden Bowser Statues you face? They jump at'cha. Yeah, the only time I saw them was in the Comunity GFX.

2. Ninjis - People make all kinds of Shy Guys and Sniffits. Forest Guy by Cosmik(or was it TheKingoftheBoos? Well, bad memory.) is an example. Face it, we only have 1 Ninji texture, and it's Ninja Ninjis by Valterri.

1. Lots of people do it! It's just that eventually everything will be ripped.

2. There are more than one Ninji created. Plus, the Ninja Ninjis weren't made by Valtteri.

Well I have bad memory, so tell me who made those. And ripping is better, because you don't go thru all the work, and it looks perfect.

This thread is pretty much pointless in my opinion. You're complaining about having to scroll through pages and don't provide links or anything, or relevant information. You could easily have looked up to see that the forest guys belong to TheKingOfBoos and not me. There are also a lot of different Ninjis throughout CGFX and other packs. There are also a ton of SMW graphics, people like me just prefer SMB3 due to the palettes and styling.

You'll be pleased to know that these enemies will all replace the SMB2 Ninji and they will be in my Graphics Pack 1.4!

What are you talking about? SMW gets a lot and I mean, A LOT of love here. And literally everything that is usable in SMBX is already ripped from SMW. Look at the Community GFX pack and you'll see what I mean. Also there's a lot of SMW stuff in my GFX pack too.

Hey, buddy, why don't you read the rules topics? It'll explain why you aren't getting the nicest reception. If you wanted to discuss this, you should have posted it in General. GFX forum is for GRAPHICS, not graphic discussion.

What I think we need is more Zelda-related stuff for those of us who like to play as Link. A Ganondorf replacing SMB3 Bowser would be a good idea (we already have a SMB3-Style Princess Zelda to replace Peach). We need Zelda tilesets and Link re-stylings that mesh well together, we also need Zelda enemies to replace every Mario enemy, also drawn in proper style so no graphics clash.

People still use that word "Clash"?

Also you realize that replacing every gfx would take a lot of time?

Sadly, yes :( It's a pain in the ass to try and have everything in the same style, but the only way to make your game look professional is if everything meshes well together.

Yes, but there's no other way to make a fully-Zelda episode (or a fully-Touhou episode, or a fully-anything-non-Mario episode). Zelda might just be easier to do than other franchises because you could just rip all the Zelda II graphics without having to make them from scratch.
