Hey, Joey, the owner of the forums. I did the looking around, now it's just up to use to imply the idea.

I was wondering if we can have a BBCode for SoundCloud so we can post Music from SoundCloud.
You had a .mp3 BBCode when the Forum just started up. But got removed because it was not working and if it did worked it was useless anyways.
But if we had a SoundCloud it would be good to show off Music from SoundCloud. I know you know there's a way in the Forum's Administrative settings where, you can have a BBCode only be available to use in Signatures, but that would be a nice feature to have. I'm not sure it would be a good idea in general posting on the Forums, unless a Thread get's created in the SandBox Forum, but then there's no YouTube thread so, yeah. But People who want to show off Music their like from/on SOundCloud they could do it in their signature with the below BBCode:

Well, I'm not Joey, but I just implemented it. Seems like a pretty good thing to have around.

Example (from the top trending music piece on SoundCloud as of this posting):

Oh and Pseudo-dino, can I make a thread in the sandbox where other users can post their own SoundCloud Music they like? - Or "no" because of the same reason we don't have a YouTube Video thread?

We already have a music discussion thread. I don't think there's a rule that says only Youtube links are allowed lol

No, there was a rule for no Post YouTube Videos Threads

If you want to address me personally, feel free to drop me a private message.

If people actually end up using this then we can keep it, but if it doesn't get used then I'll probably remove it.

What's the harm in just having it, even if it doesn't get used? It doesn't do any harm.

There's no harm in removing it if it doesn't get used, either.

But if you guys want to discuss/debate/argue on whether we should keep it to sit there just incase someone wants to use it. Then by all means. open up another thread.
This thread was only to ask if we could have a SoundCloud BBCode, and now we do, I want this Thread locked please to stop people from arguing. Create another thread for that.

There's no reason to open up another thread and have two threads about the SoundCloud BBcode.

Yeah this is a pretty good point, you can keep justifying new features endlessly but they just take up space in the posting area if they're not actually used.
