So basically, i wanted to remake the first level of the original SMB1 on the NES! This is what i made

It has 1-1 and 1-2 in the same level.

All the graphics are from the NES Graphics Pack made by Captain Obvious and the music and sounds are from Valtteri's NES Sound Pack for SMBX! (download the sound pack from http://www.supermariobrosx.org/forums/v ... f=69&t=457 and replace the "music" and "sound" folders of your SMBX to get them to work!)

Alright, my review:

This level was pretty good. The atmosphere here was nice one, I kinda like the SMB1 8-bit graphics in this level. the music fits fine. Anyway the gameplay was casual, simple and short, it could be much longer in my opinion. The design was pretty great and isn't empty, and I liked it that much. Anyway, there's nothing here to say in this level, bcuz of the gameplay length being short, but it was good actually.

The SMB1 overworld music doesn't fit in overworld sections, because the music theme is 16-bit, and this level is 8-bit themed, so you should add some custom 8-bit music here. Thanks for the review! But you were supposed to download the 8-bit music and sound pack like it says in the post! It makes the level entirely 8-bit!
