Fairies are prepared to danmaku battle! Red and Blue one!
Test map is included. I didn't replace platform lines with empty gifs, so you can see how it works.

This sprite does not combines with the style "Mario", and these black eyes, They are a little scary...

They're basically fairies from touhou compiled into SMBX... which are so much clash involved it's crazy. Even for it's outta appearance, it's nice. Too bad I'm unable to use it though unless I have actual fairies that are fitting to everything else in the Mario universe.

Looks okay, but as everyone said, it just doesn't fit the "Mario" world we're familiar with.
It could work if it gets edited or something, I dunno.

Listen, all of you! You CAN NOT have Touhou girls drawn in the Mario style! Believe me, I tried my hardest! It is just plain IMPOSSIBLE! If you want Touhou characters in your episode, they WILL INEVITABLY CLASH! So stop whining about the clashing and be thankful we can have cute Touhou fairy enemies in our episodes!

Alternatively, make a tileset and background that can blend with the Touhou characters you want to use, if you absolutely MUST make an episode without clashing. ¬_¬

Very impressive... I guess you can make a level with one or two Touhou enemies in Mario style... BUT it's still impossible to make en entire Touhou-based episode without most sprites clashing. You can't re-style ALL of the Touhou girls/monsters/yukkuri that would appear in an episode entirely set in Gensokyo! And that's not even mentioning any playables...

No it is impossible, in fact.

Who played Touhou Mario (SMW hack) know, if you want something related to touhou, I recommend ripping the sprites of this hack.

What Airship meant was using the keys 1, 2, 3 & 4 of the emulator to disable the backgrounds and then take screenshots in order to rip the sprites and make your own sprite sheet.

I watched a let's play of the rom hack and it doesn't look so good. I'll stick with my clashing graphics from the PC fangames.

You can also check Touhou Mario 2, some sprites are improved, although this hack is still under construction.

Touhou Mario 2 looks like a big improvement over the first hack. At least now the bosses have animations instead of being a static sprite flying around like a floating statue. Anyway, I don't have time to wait for a Mountain of Faith Touhou Mario to be made, so I'll still use the clashing sprites for my Cirno game. Thank you anyway, AirShip.
