He's not on the verge of dying or anything, but he's been the voice of Mario since Mario had a voice, and he's currently 59 years old. His voice isn't going to be there forever.

What do you think is going to happen to Mario if Charles Martinet chooses to retire or dies?

In my opinion, they'll probably find someone who sounds similar to Charles Martinet. He did a lot of voices, so the replacement will either have to learn all the voices or get multiple people for every voice.

I think that they would just replace him with someone else. But mario also doesnt speak to much as it is, so they can just recycle the deadman's old lines beyond his passage.

They get Vinny aka Vinesauce bc he has one of the best mario voices

I imagine that they'd just hire a sound-alike. As Werdna said, Mario doesn't talk a lot so it would be pretty easy to find someone who sounded almost identical.

Mario will get married, have a son and die, and then Mario Jr. will be the new hero.

If Charles EVER died, they'd probably get the old Mario voice actor from Mario Teaches Typing.

That could possibly happen if they pick the wrong voice actor and the game with the new voice actor turns out to be just as bad as Hotel Mario.
