Hello. I have a very big problem. I have downloaded LunaLUA and its a great program, But every time i try to start the SMBX main game, after the loading screen, it goes to a black screen like this:


Can someone please help me, I really want to play some episodes

I reccomend reinstalling SMBX. That will usually do the trick.

Sorry for the bumping this extremely old topic, but i still haven't found a solution to my problem. Redownloading only fixes the standard SMBX, and not the LunaLUA version

I have tried to redownload LunaLUA SEVERAL times, but the screen is still completely black in the main game, which is a shame considering a lot of episodes today use LunaLUA.

Can someone please help me... Again? And yes, i DO have the newest version of LunaLUA i think!

Try downloading the 2.0 beta.

No thanks! I'd rather stick to the normal SMBX, since that's the one I'm most familiar with, but I would still like to be able to use LunaLUA in the main game!

Any additional tips?

SMBX 2.0 is an expansion of the normal SMBX. You can still play all SMBX episodes that 1.3 could play, but it comes with LunaLua pre-installed.

That's the best and easiest solution. You still have the normal editor, only real difference is lua.

Welp, I've run into another problem! I can't extract damn SMBX 2.0 without getting 100+ shitty errors like these:



(Note: I am using 7-Zip)

Could someone please give me the SMBX 2.0 download as a ZIP file? Thanks
