Yo! This is a jungle level! It's pretty long and (maybe) difficult. but uhh, have fun!
Also, if you're having a hard time finding the star coins, here's a little hint:
Collect all of the coins! Also keep your eyes open for secret pipes

Oh man, these graphics make me happy Not a lot of non-linearness in the screenies though...

I'm honored that you are using my graphics. I can tell you had fun using them. I'll download this and put up a review later.
EDIT: here it is:
A nonlinear detailed level with NPC variety and surprisingly no clash. (I never used my tileset with other NPCs before lol)
Design: This level's design was unique to say the least. I liked the gimmicks used in the level such as lowering the poison water level and being able to stand on the trees. I also liked how detailed your level is. The first event trigger where the wall disappears was a little strange to me and it actually can cause an unfair death if the player is too reckless and runs off the edge. Also the way to collect the star coin near that section was kind of weird to me as well since you have to collect 4 coins that appear after the event trigger to trigger the star coin, which is very easily overlooked. Now that we're on the topic of star coins, I only saw 1 in your level. Did you forget to put any other star coins or was that intentional? There were a few jumps that were crazy such as the jump with the piranha plant going downward followed by a venus fire trap directly next to it. I also didn't agree with the foreground bush gimmick as it can cause an unfair hit or death. After the first vine jump with the hoopster, I didn't see that spiny at all because it was behind the bush; as a result, I ended up landing on it after I jumped off the vine and then died.
Score: 6/10
NPC Placement: The NPC placement was decent. The coin placement was well done. I found that there were some areas that were cluttered with enemies though.
Score: 7/10
Atmosphere: I did like the atmosphere that this level had. There were plenty of background objects in it. The music fit well (considering that it was the forest music in NSMBWii) I didn't see any problems at all with the atmosphere.
Score: 10/10
Overall Score: 7.6/10 Pretty solid level, but it needs work. (Again I'm honored that you used my graphics in your level. I'm really flattered)

there is nothing wrong with a linear level. As long as it's not too flat or if it has a lot to it.

it's all based on preference here. I do admit that some levels should have 1 or 2 branching paths though. Secrets are always nice to see in a level as long as they aren't too vague.

Thank you very much! Also there are 5 Star coins in the level! But they are all kind of "hidden in plain sight" there's a pipe that's behind a bush, and some Star coins are got with collecting a certain set of coins. It was something new I wanted to try! And yeah some areas are kinda cluttered with enemies i'll change that ASAP I used the foreground bush gimmick pretty much just to make the level a bit more difficult, but do you think I should change some of the spots where I use the gimmick or just remove it entirely? Lastly, yup I had a lot of fun with your graphics, i saw them on the graphics forum and I instantly wanted to make a level with them!

I think you should remove the bush gimmick entirely lol. I knew someone would use the tree pieces as a bush, so I made the graphic so the user wouldn't have to lol. It is a clever idea, but it can go south really fast. I'm glad you enjoyed using the graphics.

The piranha plants of poison pond review
Design & Gameplay: 7.5/10 (counts 70%)
This level is p. fun to play but wasn't fantastic yet. The design is quite good, I like the use of layers & events. The level isn't too challenging but still hard enough for a w5 level for example. The level isn't too long and isn't too short either, also there is no problem with the powerup vs. enemy ratio, I found it p. fair. The NPC variety & placement are both great in the level. The coin placement is also decent. The star coins are hidden very well, I like the mini-missions for these. The overall design of the level is good and I see effort in it.
Despite being p. fun, the level has just some replay value. Also, one of the star coins could've been a slightly less hidden but it's not that bad. (the one that's accessable not exactly with a pipe) And there is a slightly low amount of coins but still acceptable.
Atmosphere & Visuals: 9.5/10 (counts 30%)
I love the atmosphere of the level, it's really great. The music was pretty fitting in the level in my opinion. There was a decent amount of sceneries in the level. The graphics weren't just unclashy, but they were really beautiful to look at next to each other. The overall atmospheric feeling is pretty good in summary.
Score: 8.1/10
