For the longest time, I've wanted to create a SMB3 based project of my own, but the way SMBX was programmed, it always felt off. Now that I've gotten the custom hud mod made, I can finally do what I've been wanting to do for a long time, and that's start this project! This project will be completely SMB3 themed, but will utilize custom graphics when needed to keep things fresh. It will combine both Vanilla and Custom graphics to create a nostalgic yet fresh new experience.

To see this project through to the end, and again relive that SMB3 experience, levels will be kept fairly short. I'm unsure of how many worlds I am to do yet.

To enjoy this project as best as you can, you must download [url=http://srv1_engine.wohlnet.ru/LunaLua/_downloads/LunaLUA_0.7.0.4-beta_smbx13_sfx_mus_full.zip]SMBX + LunaLua 0.7.0.3 BETA[/url] or newer, and also install my SMB3 Overhaul Mod. At some point in the future, I'll compile a complete installation for this episode with LunaLua and the Mod installed alongside the project.

THE HYPE

Dude I'm looking forward to this. I love episodes in the style of SMB3 and your SMB3 Overhaul Mod makes the whole thing even more authentic.
The screenshots look really nice as well, I can see that it's mostly SMB3 styled but that you also included some elements from other games like the SMW grass in the ground which, at least for me, gives it a SMA4 vibe, which I really like.

This is gonna be a very interesting SMB3 type project of yours. If it's gonna be finished, I'm definetly gonna let's play it. So far your whole design is very nice like that there's some elements from SMB3 but most of the time they're also originality involved. I really wish you good luck in the future progress of this SMBX Episode, @Blank! <3

Props to you for making stuff that looks good and also doesn't use a ton custom graphics. We need more episodes like this.

Nice Mod you got there. Definitely going to be an interesting SMB3 episode aside from the mod.

No. They're going to be original levels. Some parts may seem familiar though.

This is very interesting and I enjoyed it, I feel some envy but loved it. I hope that this episode has good future
