Super Mario Bros. X Forums

As I mentioned in my introduction, I had this project in the works, but did not wish to make a thread at that time, as you can guess, this has changed. The project is intended to have thematic worlds, very few custom graphics, and a mostly typical mario narrative, as of right now, I have the first area completed, so I thought I'd give you at least one demo for a basic idea of the game. Now, don't think this is going to just be some bare bones demo. I've included the entire first area, along with a hidden teaser for the second. So have fun, people!

This is very creative! I really want to see more!

this doesn't really look good at all

everything is rather bland especially the third screenshot

Is it just me, or are there no CGFX? Ugh.

You can make a game without custom graphics... it doesn't always have to do with graphics. Look at The Invasion, Princess Cliche (old) and The Great Castle Asventure. They have no custom graphics back at the time but those SMBX Episodes are good.

So far, I like this SMBX Episode so far by the progression of it. Looking forward to the future.

I didn't like the screenshots personally but it is my opinion
