Winding Path

Postby y479021776 » Tue Jul 28, 2015 2:05 am

Ah,I made two mini games, they called Winding Path!
In this game, you must go to exit in limited time, and you can not touch wall,or you will die!
In order to make timer,I used LunaDLL.So if you not have it,go to http://www.supermariobrosx.org/forums/v ... =69&t=1009 to download it.
Have fun yourself~

Wow, that's pretty creative to be honest, although this could be replicated without LunaDLL, except for the timer of course. The graphics remind me a lot of old ZX Spectrum games, though I would suggest making the backgrounds plain colours like the mazes, or use 16-bit graphics to complement the backgrounds. It's not a big issue however and hopefully you haven't planted any jumpscares in there like the hordes of Flash Maze Games. Assuming that the glove replaces the Fairy Pendant, this could be a lot more difficult than you'd think, or even more so if the Airship ridable is used. I'll certainly download this and give it a go, and I wouldn't mind seeing more episodes of Winding Path in the future.

Review of Winding Path by y479021776

This level was interesting. It uses pretty creative gimminick - avoid and across the coloured walls to get to the next section. There's 2 levels, which seems that they're going to be fun before playing 'em, so... let's just get start it...

Winding Path - Finish 19 maze sections as screens to finish the game as a level. You need to survive each of the section, since there's a timer. The first sections were a bit hard, but later, it became more challenging. If you touch the wall, you lose (instant death). The concept here looks great, but the only problem - you have to finish this in one, long single run, this means you have to not touch coloured walls, and without midpoint, so this is difficult run and probably recommending for players who have pro skills for maze games.

7/10

Winding Path 2 - Same as the first one, except they're bigger and longer! Also there's many many less sections, so there can be a chance for this one being easier than the first one. In one of these sections, there's two path choices, which one can lead to dead end, which makes waste more time, or even so, if you didn't finish the section in time when choosing the wrong path, can lose the level, so it's a bit unfair. But anyway, because of less section and otherpros, I'll give dis better score.

7.5/10

the levels were good but hard as hell, k that's it

Averaged Score: 7.25/10
