Could you show your specs? Maybe it has to do something with them.

Specs (or specifications) are the requirements/standards of your computer's system. This includes things such as the Processor, Installed Memory/RAM (usually measured in GB), and System Type (64 bit OS, 32 bit OS, etc). To find these click on Computer/My Computer and go into Properties. Then go into System Properties and you'll find your specs about halfway down the screen under System.
Hope this helps.

Okay. Then try this: Hit Start, then go to the Control Panel, and click System. It should be in there.

What about RAM? Also do you have a 64 bit or 32 bit system?

Are you sure? RAM is always a power of 2. (1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, 128, or 256 GB). Again, 64 bit or 32 bit operating system?

Here are some things you should check then:
1. Did you install the 32 bit SMBX or the 64 bit program?
2. Open task manager. Check to see if you have any programs running in the background that might be slowing you down since 1 GB of RAM is very little for a program like SMBX.

how to have the 32 bit version?

Search around to see if you can find one. The normal installer only runs properly on 64 bit systems. Sorry. You probably won't find one though, 32 bit systems are rarely supported by anyone now. 64 bit is so much faster and 32 bit systems aren't too commonly used.

Uh, SMBX is a 32bit program. There is no 64bit SMBX. Most applications are 32bit.

I'm sorry but you're incorrect. If you downloaded SMBX from this forum, you downloaded a 64 bit installer. If you go click on download on the main page, it states in the first page of comments that the installer only works on a 64 bit OS. Very few people use 32 bit OS anymore because 64 bit is so much faster.

SMBX IS 32bit.
The Installer is NOT smbx.exe. Don't confuse with it.
SMBX was programmed with a language called Visual Basic 6. A language from 1998 where 64bit windows was the future.
Anyway, I would recommend try out the version with LunaLua (
http://engine.wohlnet.ru/LunaLua/ with "Full Installation"). There might be possibilies that your audio codec doesn't work.

can you help me?

Uhm, you need to extract everything into a folder. You can't just run it from a zipped file.

Sorry for my misunderstanding there. Another post led me to believe it was the other way around. Thank you for sorting that out.
