Floral Castle review

Design & Gameplay: 7.5/10 (counts 70%)
This level was quite fun, I can imagine it as a W1 castle level. The difficulty is alright in that case, the level isn't too long but isn't too short either and the powerup vs. enemy ratio is fair too. The variety and placement of NPCs is alright. You've placed the coins well. The boss battle also got quite good thanks to the extra brambles. The Dragon coins are well hidden but still not overhidden. The secret star is also hidden well. The bramble switches are interesting to have as a mechanic.
The level has some replay value but still not that much. Also, the level didn't interest me to play at SOME points.

Atmosphere & Visuals: 8.5/10 (counts 30%)
The level has a nice grassland+castle theme. The music is fitting in all sections. (the overworld, the castle and the boss fight) The level didn't have clash or cutoffs. The aesthetics are nice in the level overall.
The first section has a bit high amount of BGOs, but it's not spammy at least.

Score: 7.8/10

FLORAL CASTLE REVIEW (BY SPINDA)

GAMEPLAY: 8/10

Nice level by the way. I like castle levels but grassland and castle mix is my favourite. There are brambles which hurt you I can see. But the switches also remove useful paths such as ones lead you to secret star. And one more thing, if you'll make a level with boss, don't forget the boss music should play when you encounter the boss. and add another gate at the right side where is covered with castle tiles. That was an odd cutoff.


ATMOSPHERE & VISUALS: 6.5/10

Yeah, I didn't like most of the level's atmosphere. Especially the section where secret star is. You can add a bunch of enemies there. And there is a lack of enemies, by the way. You can add recolored Lil' Sparky or Hothead from SMW or some Bowser Statues to ramp up the difficulty a bit.

TOTAL: 7.25/10

NOTE: Please make a better level next time, that wasn't horrible or amazing, it's so easy-made and not challenging.

The level is a bit on the easy side because it was to be used in NSMBX' community peoject before it disbanded, and it was the castle of World 1 in that project, so I've tried not making it too hard. That's why I didn't add stuff like Bowser statues, it's not meant to be hard.
There aren't any enemies in the secret star section because it's just a reward and I don't really think enemies should belong there. Also, could you screenshot the cutoff?
