Thanks for the review Squishy RexSquishy Rex wrote:This looks pretty unique, judging by the screenshot. I would recommend using SMB3 coins as the SMW ones look rather out of place in a mainly SMB2/SMB3 styled level. Other than that it looks like a well-balanced level, with a nice moderation of enemies and coins. Well done Pop Yoshi Bros and keep up the good work!
Thanks for the review, is my first level so it's not perfectglitch4 wrote:Review of Frozen Peak by Pop Yoshi Bros
Level Design and Atmosphere
Hmm, pretty much some decent level design here. The level title pretty much makes sense of it - there's so many ice graphics in this level, which is kinda good. Probably the background was the coolest one to have in this level. I agree that there should be SMB3 coins instead of SMW so it will look better. The atmosphere is kinda neat, too. The emeny placements were okay, some of them are kinda a bit bad (see it in gameplay). The cave section was a bit empty because there's lack of coins in there, also the cave tileset doesn't connect with the snow tileset (meaning I came to the cave section out of nowhere, with other tileset changed). As for other placements, some of them has cutoffs, like this one. Well, I have nothin to say, so....

Gameplay
It was decent, too. The flying chasing parakoopas are kinda annoying to dodge. The standing machines, which shoot fire, are also hard to dodge. The level was pretty challenging and a bit boring, because of some emeny placements you add, makes it a bit unfair. The Birdo boss was nothing interesting that much, just beating him twice to clear the level. You can't beat the level with Yoshi, because there's a section, where there are vines and you can't climb with Yoshi, so that's not good. Overall, good gameplay.
